FAQ
When will I receive my photos?
Turnaround time for galleries from standard packages is 1-2 weeks. For weddings, "sky is the limit" sessions, or travel sessions, galleries will be sent out between 3-4 weeks. I do work other jobs and attend school outside of photography, so I just ask for patience while waiting for gallery delivery.
Is there a time limit on sessions?
Mini sessions are no longer than 45 minutes. For standard packages, I do my best to capture everything we have envisioned within 1-2 hours. At client requests I am able to extend sessions for an extra added fee.
How do travel sessions work?
I offer special packages and pricing depending on the distance required for travel, length of trip, and extent of photography needs. Pricing will be discussed and agreed upon during our email consultation. I am available for hire around the globe. Travel sessions are great for more than just extensive vacations. Destination bachelorette parties, family reunions, or even just day trips around the city are sessions that fall under this category.
Do you require a down payment?
All sessions aside from mini sessions require a non-refundable 20% down payment upon signing the contract. If you end up having a conflict, sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice.
How will my photos be delivered to me?
I will provide you with a full gallery as well as a print release that allows you to print and post the photos as you wish. I just ask that credit is provided where it is due. Recommendations for printing companies will be provided upon delivery of the edited gallery.
Do you schedule mini session events?
I schedule mini session events once every few months. The best way to stay up to date on upcoming events is through my Facebook or Instagram pages. These will include discounted mini sessions at unique locations which will be announced upon the scheduling of the event. Sessions like this are great for holiday shoots, small children who have trouble sitting still for longer sessions, or older pets who can't move around like they used to.
Are Wedding packages available?
Yes! There are a variety of wedding packages available with Novel Images. Packages start at $600 dollars and will include a minimum of 4-6 hours of shooting time as well as a free engagement session before the big day. Second shooters can be made available for extra cost but are not directly associated with myself on a regular basis. Do you have props and a client closet?
I do offer access to my personal prop closet and client wardrobe for extra add-on fees that can be discussed during consultation. Certain packages come with limited access, but full access can also be purchased for an additional fee.
